Some features in NitroEarn require you to link your Discord account.
This integration with Discord enables us to securely authenticate your Discord identity, enabling new features and increased security. Linking your Discord account allows us to ensure that your orders are given to the correct Discord account.

Is this secure?
Absolutely. Your trust is vital to us. Without it, we would be out of business.
As a result, we use Discord's OAuth2 integration, allowing us to access details about your Discord account, such as your user ID and email, without needing your password.
From Discord's own developer page: "OAuth2 enables application developers to build applications that utilize authentication and data from the Discord API."
The entire linking process is handled by Discord - we never see your password and cannot log in/send messages as you. You can verify this for yourself as we redirect you to Discord's website to log in.
Can I get banned by doing this?
You cannot get banned from Discord as a result of using NitroEarn.
NitroEarn strictly abides by Discord's Terms of Service - we're an app that heavily focuses on Discord so this is obviously a priority for us.

What can NitroEarn see about my account?
Your Discord username and user ID
We use this to identify your account for features such as delivering your Nitro orders on Discord.
Your Discord avatar/banner
This is used for customisation features, such as using your avatar on your profile. We technically have access to your banner, but this is not currently used by NitroEarn.
Your email address
We use this to notify you about order updates and account updates. We will never send you spam.
We don't have access to anything else - not your messages, friends, servers or account password.
How do I remove my Discord account from NitroEarn?
You can unlink your Discord account at any time.
You can do so by visiting your User Settings on Discord, then going to the Authorized Apps section and clicking 'Deauthorize' on NitroEarn.
